RF Technology has introduced digitally controlled power amplifiers with smart IP technology. Features include: integrated digital RFT controller supporting full control and monitoring the 16 sensors and alarms over LAN (SNMP v2c); RF input sensors monitoring input - no key up without RF input; remote IP control using ethernet (set or adjust power remotely); quick key up response; closed-loop control ensuring set output constant (multi-environment compensating, ie, component variance, power, temperature, component ageing and so on).

Other features include: high RF shielding and isolation; monitors antenna reflection and performance remotely over extended periods; five temperature sensors to monitor heat generation internally; automatic shutdown on triggered events (adjustable); 50 Ω output; adjustable over a wide frequency range without tuning; 60 W or 120 to 130 W output power at VHF and UHF; 45 W or 80 W output power at 800 MHz; can operate in linear mode at reduced power; choice of enclosure 4RU in subrack or 2RU; upcoming models to 250 W and beyond.
