DMR-based interface on show at IWCE 2013
Zetron will be providing live demonstrations of its DMR-based interface to its Acom EVO and MAX Dispatch systems at the International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE) in Las Vegas, Nevada, 13-14 March 2013.
The company’s products already support P25 and TETRA standards, therefore the DMR-based interface, which was developed in partnership with Tait Communications, extends even further the company’s support for open-standards-based networks and equipment. It also adds to the interoperability of the systems.
The company is a Category 1 member of the DMR Association.
“We are very excited to be demonstrating our new DMR interface live with two of our key dispatch systems - Acom EVO and MAX Dispatch,” said Zetron president and CEO Ellen O’Hara.
“The live demos will give customers the opportunity to witness firsthand the ability of these systems to support a standards-based DMR Tier-III trunked network. Zetron remains actively involved in providing an ever-increasing number of open-standards-based solutions because they offer customers such important benefits, including enhanced interoperability, cost effectiveness, and more choice in their selection of equipment.”
