Official Chinese motorcycle escorts use Hytera comms
In October, China resumed motorcycle escorts for visiting foreign leaders in Beijing, with communications supported by Hytera communication products.
At the beginning of 2014, Hytera came to an agreement to develop a customised communication system for the motorcycle escorts. Based on existing DMR mobile radios, Hytera developed a communication system with both DMR and TETRA two-way radios which ensures communications between command centre and motorcycle escorts. The dual audio access technology in both wireless and wired transmission ensures a reliable communication environment.
Hytera also provided a communication system to motorcycle escorts to help ensure safe operations during the recent APEC meeting.
