Tait DMR Tier 3 supports Omnitronics' RediTALK
Tait Communications has announced that its DMR Tier 3 network now supports Omnitronics’ RediTALK dispatch console.
Tait and Omnitronics have partnered to develop a gateway interface based on the Applications Interface Specification (AIS) standard defined by the DMR Association.
In a statement, Tait said that partnership with other open-standards solutions providers means that organisations can reap the benefits of greater choice and flexibility when implementing a digital communications solution.
Omnitronics said in a statement that while Tait and Omnitronics have enjoyed a long-standing relationship over the past three decades, the new partnership represents a strengthening of that relationship with a solution that achieves a common goal of offering clients greater choice and compatibility across a variety of vendors.
Tait’s DMR solution - which includes integrated location services, network management and security features - is designed to be fully compliant with the Digital Mobile Radio standards defined by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI).
