Following the introduction of the TX4800V 25 W VHF waterproof radio, GME has introduced the UHF version.

The TX4800U has the same features of the TX4800V, making it a suitable choice when a 25 W UHF commercial radio is required.

With its feature set and a Flash-upgradeable microprocessor, the TX4800 is a radio that claims it is not only ready for work today but also ready to meet the demands of the future. It is capable of being integrated into most existing conventional radio networks.

The TX4800U features include:

• Coverage from 450-520 MHz;
• 124-channel capacity;
• Waterproof to IP67;
• 25 or 5 W power;
• Multi-trunk or signal strength standard;
• Full die-cast chassis and metal mounting bracket;
• Full built-in tone signalling CTCSS, DCS and multi tone selcall formats;
• Alphanumeric dot matrix display;
• 7 programmable soft keys;
