Trio DataCom's S Series consists of low cost, high quality, miniature, half duplex data radios. The radios have been designed specifically for the SCADA telemetry point-to-point and point-to-multipoint market. The S Series is suitable for use by VARs and OEMs for high specification, fully synthesised fixed or mobile, data applications.
The radios are available in the 208-245 MHz, 370-520 MHz or 800-960 MHz frequency bands. Optional plug-in modules are available to accommodate a data modem and various other devices. This compact package for the transmission of data over radio provides a viable alternative to costly networks of buried media such as cable or fibre for data transmission.
