MiMOMax Wireless has introduced an improved DPS2 processing platform for MiMOMax radio units. The DPS2 has twice the flash memory of its predecessor and an upgraded ethernet interface with dual auto-switching ports. This provides two 10/100 ethernet ports that can be managed through a switch system with V-LAN support.
The DPS2 processing board contains a more accurate, reduced ageing, lower phase noise frequency reference, decreasing the need for calibration. This higher performing crystal also lowers the overall system noise.
DPS2 boasts new software architecture and a more responsive CCMS to enable closer and more accurate analysis of system performance as well as a common alarm interface across all the DIFs.
The DPS2 will be available in all of MiMOMax’s latest radio products.
