Vertex Standard has released the VX924E midband VHF portable radio.

This transceiver covers the complete 66-88 MHz band, with a 512-channel capacity, full signalling and a 2000 mAh Li-Ion battery supplied as standard.

Options include a 3000 mAh Li-Ion battery, single- and six-unit multi-chargers, submersible speaker microphones and an alkaline battery case.

The radio is IP57 rated, submersible to 1 m for 30 mins.
