Termite II is a heavy-duty waterproof radio transceiver designed specifically for mine vehicles. The fact that these units are often installed in open-cab vehicles and used in some of the harshest environments imaginable has driven the need for a robust transceiver to be developed. The transceiver unit is packaged in its own injection-moulded enclosure ensuring that it is not affected by the ingress of water or dust and not susceptible to shock and vibration.
