Wireless-enabled enterprise solutions

Invensys Process Systems has announced seven new wireless-enabled solutions and expanded global network implementation and support capabilities. These wireless-enabled solutions can be deployed at both the plant and enterprise levels to help improve overall industrial asset performance management.

Since introducing its managed network approach to industrial wireless technology in 2005, Invensys has been working with customers to define and implement the specific applications where wireless technology can provide the most value.

Invensys' portfolio of wireless-enabled asset performance management solutions is both vendor-independent and standards-agnostic.

The solutions can operate in conjunction with most vendors' products, systems or software applications, using the most appropriate wireless standards available. Solutions are provided for mobile workforce access to control systems and documentation, field data logging and condition monitoring, asset tracking, physical security and personnel location and safety.
