GN Netcom has released its GN 9300 wireless headset series.
The series has been developed to meet the growing demand for wireless office headsets compatible with conventional and IP telephony.
The wireless headsets include: the GN 9350 multi-use unit for both conventional and IP telephony, the GN 9330 for desk phones and the GN 9330 USB for PC-based IP telephony.
The 9350 is claimed to be the first headset to offer users full convergence between conventional office telephony and PC-based IP telephony. It automatically switches between phone and PC when a call is received.
It has wideband audio performance (6.8 kHz bandwidth in IP mode) and is said to be the first to incorporate digital signal processing.
