Arrow Asia Pac to acquire Adilam
Arrow Asia Pac has announced an agreement to acquire the component distribution business of Adilam Pty Ltd from 1 June 2007. Adilam is an electronic component distributor in Australia and New Zealand.
This acquisition will create significant opportunities for Arrow, strengthening its leadership position and increasing its competitive advantages in the ANZ market. Under the combined entity, there will be no change to the local structure of Arrow or reporting relationships of Arrow's existing employees. Adilam employees will be transferred to Arrow Australia and assigned new positions.
With this increase in resources, Arrow will be better positioned to expand its product portfolio and offer improved services, products and support to customers and suppliers of the combined company.
