The TX3H-869.5-15 from Radiometrix is an FM transmitter module with a power output of 450 mW at 869.5 MHz.
It is fully pin-compatible with the company’s range of SIL TX modules and is a drop-in UHF replacement for the TX1H VHF.
It can be used by the designer of a licence-exempt wireless data application where the antenna size is restricted yet a range in kilometres is also specified.
The module can support data rates of up to 15 Kbps and has a potential range of 5 km or more when paired with company receivers such as the RX3G, depending on the type of antenna used and the environment.
The module requires a 5 V regulated supply capable of delivering 350 mA during transmission.
The device operates within the European 869.40-869.65 MHz sub-band allocation although custom frequencies may be available. It has been designed to comply with EN301 489 (EMC) and EN 300 220 (SRD) radio standards.
