The ADH 3Com automatic dehydrator supplies low pressure -40°C maximum dewpoint air to keep waveguide and coax dry. The standard pressure is 34.5 mbar with 207 mbar and 414 mbar options.

Standard features include automatic regeneration, alarm and low pressure relays and an RS422/RS485 communications interface for unattended operation.

The dehydrator uses LED displays and indicators to provide a wide viewing angle and good visibility under low-light conditions. Displayed information includes status, operating and fault diagnosis data along with air pump operating time.

It operates with low noise and vibration and uses aluminium oxide desiccant. The humidity sensor causes regeneration based on current dewpoint rather than at fixed time intervals for additional energy savings and long desiccant life.

Dual microcontrollers, dual pumps and solid-state circuitry ensure reliability. Two dehydrators can be connected in master/slave configuration to provide redundancy.

The device has an internal evaporator to eliminate the need for a water drain. The dehydrator operates from 120/230 V 50/60 Hz or optionally 24 or 48 VDC.
