CSR-based Bluetooth modules

A range of CSR-based Bluetooth modules is now available.

With the HSM3.0 modules, users can obtain fully-integrated Bluetooth designed to meet their application-specific needs. Each module includes a complete embedded protocol stack, application-specific profiles, a high-level command interpreter and supports a proprietary command set which effectively eliminates the need for Bluetooth expertise.

Having the entire Bluetooth stack and profiles run in the module and not the host processor greatly reduces (or eliminates) resource requirements on the host processor.

The HSM3.0 is based on BlueCore3-Multimedia; a single chip radio and baseband IC for Bluetooth 2.4 GHz systems, with an on-chip DSP and a stereo CODEC. It is fully compliant with Bluetooth V2.0 specifications and include CSR's echo and noise-cancellation software, CVC.
