Compliant modules

Jennic says its chips, modules, stacks and development kits now form part of a ZigBee-compliant platform, allowing developers to use the products with others on the wireless network.

Once developers have incorporated a ZigBee-compliant platform into their designs, they can apply for certification of their own products to ensure interoperability with products from other manufacturers.

Within the compliant platform is the JN5121 wireless microcontroller and the software stack. The device is an integrated low-power, low cost IEEE 802.15.4 compliant microcontroller combining on-chip 32 bit RISC core, compliant 2.4 GHz IEEE 802.15.4 transceiver, 64 Kb ROM and 96 Kb of RAM and a range of peripherals enabling a low cost wireless sensor for networking applications.
