Erni Elektroapparate has redesigned its D-subs from scratch to include punched SMT connections, 100% coplanarity due to positive-fit assembly and a mechanical stability that is unaffected by touch or by tensile or lateral loads.
The company is expanding its D-sub range with angled, straight, different heights, SMT, pressfit or THR connections. New, too, is the high-current connector.
The connector is said to be the first in the world on which even the high current contacts can be stamped and formed in a single operation.
The high-current device withstands over 20 A and is suitable for combined signal and power transmission used for all types of controllers and drives.
