Crystek 50 GHz low-loss RF cable assemblies

Monday, 17 March, 2014 | Supplied by: Crystek Crystals Corporation

Crystek has extended the frequency range of its high-performance RF coaxial cable assemblies to 50 GHz. The 50 GHz low-loss RF cable assemblies feature corrosion-resistant 2.4 mm 303 stainless steel connectors and three levels of shielding for low attenuation over distance. They are in stock in lengths of 24, 39.4 and 48″, with custom lengths available.

Suitable for high-frequency interconnects in mission-critical applications and microwave laboratories, the cable assemblies (P/N series CC2450-MM-150) provide RF shielding of >90 dB with an operating temperature range of -55 to +85ºC. The cables feature an outer diameter of 0.122″ and offer a minimum bend radius of 0.40″.

Each cable is constructed with a silver-plated copper wire centre conductor, flat silver-plated copper strip inner shield, aluminium polyimide foil middle shield and silver-plated copper braid outer shield, with an ePTFE (expanded polytetrafluoroethylene) dielectric. The stainless steel SST connectors feature a gold-plated beryllium copper centre pin, with a durability of 500 connections minimum.
