Dytran 3115AH miniature, high-temperature IEPE accelerometer
Dytran’s 3115AH is a miniature, high-temperature IEPE accelerometer with an overall weight of 2 g. Offered with 10 mV/g sensitivity and a 500g shock limit, the product incorporates a quartz crystal sensing element, for flat sensitivity over temperature.
The miniature sensor was created for embedded shock monitoring of drilling tools and features rugged stainless steel construction, integral insulated pigtail leads and adhesive mounting, with an operating temperature of 200°C for use in high-temperature environments. It can be used in embedded miniature, high-temperature applications, OEM embedded applications and embedded shock monitoring, for drilling tools.
The product utilises an inverted quartz element to minimise the unwanted effects of base strain on the accelerometer signal. The quartz sensing element provides long-term thermal stability in the low thermal coefficient of sensitivity; in other words, the sensor changes very little in sensitivity from room temperature to 200°C. The device offers stable DV bias at 200°C to minimise error during mathematical integration due to 1/f noise.
