The HPI series of high-power inductors from Epcos covers the inductance range from 0.5 to 3.92 µH and can handle currents up to 30 A. Depending on inductance, insertion height is 4.95 or 5.95 mm for a footprint of 11 x 13.1 mm. Resistance ranges from 1.1 to 6.0 milliohm.

Compact size and high current carrying capacity make the HPI chokes suitable for output inductors for DC/DC converters, point-of-load converters and voltage regulator modules. The new components are RoHS compatible.
