Pasternack Enterprises low-frequency SMP connectors

Rojone Pty Ltd is distributing Pasternack Enterprises’ range of low-frequency SMP connectors, suitable for applications needing operating frequencies of 8 GHz or less.

Pasternack’s SMP connectors are designed for high-density, low-frequency applications where small RF connectors are needed. Common uses include blind-mate interconnect systems and miniaturised high-density coaxial modules, such as when connecting to a small PCB. Low-frequency 8 GHz SMP connectors have the same small footprint advantages as their higher-frequency counterparts, but are more cost effective when 40 GHz connectors are not needed.

These low-frequency SMP connectors are usually attached to cable assemblies using semirigid cable, and have copper and alloy at critical contact points in their designs, with brass and stainless steel in non-contact areas.
