Quatech Airborne enterprise-class wireless ethernet modules
Interworld has released Quatech’s Airborne enterprise-class wireless ethernet modules.
The server and bridge modules are said to be the first to provide WPA2-enterprise-class extensible authentication protocols with support for authentication certificates.
The modules provide wireless serial device server or ethernet-to-wireless bridge functionality.
The 802.11b/g modules support 802.11i, 802.1x, WPA2-PSK, WPA2-enterprise with certificates, WPA-PSK, WPA-LEAP and WEP. The modules also include support for EAP-TLS, EAP-TTLS, PEAP and LEAP with AES-CCMP supported in the hardware as well as storage for multiple certificates and private keys.
The wireless bridge module also features port filtering (HTTP, FTP, Telnet), 802.11b/g NAT3 ethernet gateway and DHCP or fixed IP on wired interface.
The airborne wireless device server module manages all authentication processes without requiring interaction from the host and features: 802.11b/g serial device server and multiple UARTs including SPI and serial (RS232/422/486) interfaces.
