Aeroflex has reached agreement with Hytera to provide automated test and alignment capabilities for Hytera DMR Series radios on the Aeroflex 3920B Digital Radio Test Set.

Initial test capabilities will be focused on the PD702, PD782, PD792, PD882, HD702, HD782, HD795, SD982, X1e and X1p DMR portable radios. The program will be later expanded to Hytera DMR mobiles.

The application uses the precision instrumentation within the 3920B to quickly perform automated test and alignments to manufacturer specifications. Alignments can now be performed in much less time, minimising service and support costs for the end users and dealers. Additionally, an exclusive test cable correction feature ensures that power measurements within the alignment process are always correct.
