CTIA-The Wireless Association has approved AT4 wireless as a CTIA authorised testing laboratory for over-the-air (OTA) performance testing. The company has been added to the CTIA Online Certification database as authorised to conduct over-the-air performance testing for CTIA.

The company has put into operation the first test system for over-the-air performance testing according to the CTIA requirements in Spain. The system is located in Malaga and claims to be the first accredited testing facility of this kind in Spain.

The company’s range of services for OTA performance testing will cover GSM 850/900/1800 and 1900, 3G technologies and Wi-Fi and will include the measurement of total radiated power and total isotropic sensitivity.

“AT4 wireless customers can now start to test their devices according to CTIA requirements,” said Francisco Rincon, director of the Laboratories Division at AT4 wireless.
