The Simple Logger II Model L481 is a bipolar 850 VDC data logger that offers a choice of data storage modes and storage rates, allowing operators to configure the logger to optimise memory usage for the application at hand.
The battery-operated logger features ‘extended recording’ mode, delayed start time, internal memory that stores over 240,000 measurements, user-programmable scale and engineering units and a series of front-panel LEDs that provides a quick status of the logger’s state and memory usage.
The instrument records DC voltage at user-selectable rates from eight every second to one every day. Voltages can be measured up to +850 VDC with 0.1 V resolution.
Built-in DataView software facilitates real-time viewing of measurement data even while recording. Instrument configuration, data storage and report generation from predefined templates or custom-designed templates are also standard features. Several data loggers can be synchronised to record at the same time intervals via the software as well.
Typical applications include rail voltage monitoring, long-term supply monitoring, machine monitoring and finding intermittent voltage problems.
