Vector signal generator

Thursday, 01 January, 2009 | Supplied by: Rohde & Schwarz (Australia) Pty Ltd

The SMBV 100 A vector signal generator provides an output level of typ +24 dBm up to 6 GHz and a maximum RF bandwidth of 528 MHz.

Digital standards such as WiMAX, 3GPP FDD, HSPA and LTE can be configured directly on the instrument using its intuitive user interface.

An integrated modulation generator generates the baseband signals internally, eliminating the need for a PC.

Since users can perform on-site service themselves, downtime and cost of ownership is reduced.

The instrument is fully equipped to do the job out of the box.

It supports all important digital standards, and has a 528 MHz modulation bandwidth as well as claiming the highest output power up to 6 GHz in its class.

It results in: simpler testing — signal creation with no need to connect to a PC; faster testing, with big ARB memory and short switching times; more accurate testing, with excellent RF performance.
