Wireless RTU

Conlab has available its iWireless RTU that uses the laptops Zigbee wireless protocol.

The iWireless family combines traditional remote analog and digital functions of Modbus RTU with built-in wireless connectivity. The RTU can serve as a standard Modbus slave RTU in a radio-based SCADA system or as a peer-to-peer I/O transceiver.

The family is configurable via GUI software. The RTU can have either an internal or external antenna. Digital inputs can also be used as frequency counters.

Analog inputs and outputs have 12 bits resolution. RT12-2222 includes: 2 A in, 2 A out, 2 D in, 2 D out. Model RT12-0044 includes: 4 D in, 4 D out. Power consumption is 50 mA at 24 VDC.
