New partnership between Cohda Wireless and Autotalks
Autotalks and Cohda Wireless have announced a new partnership at the ITS World Congress 2016 in Melbourne.
Cohda Wireless will demonstrate its vehicle-to-vehicle, vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2X) reference system, consisting of the Autotalks PANGAEA platform and Cohda Wireless V2X software.
The demo will showcase interoperability between the Cohda MK5 platform and the Autotalks PANGAEA platform on a variety of safety applications. An in-car live demonstration is also available at Albert Park, showing the benefits of interoperability for connected vehicle technology.
“Connected autonomous vehicles (CAV), such as platoons of trucks on highways, require the most mature V2X communications technology and very low signal delay,” said Paul Gray, Cohda Wireless CEO.
“Our V2X communication chipset is architected for CAV featuring an ultralow-latency V2X hardware security module (eHSM) and line-rate verification for the highest security performance,” said Hagai Zyss, CEO of Autotalks.
“Together with Cohda’s CAV technology, we believe we can dramatically improve road safety, decrease car accidents and improve mobility.”
