Free2Move's GAPS is a global asset positioning system, based on GSM/GPS. The device enables full control over equipment such as vehicles, machinery, goods and containers.

With embedded battery and antennas, and with a discrete exterior, the device can be mounted on any valuable good without drawing attention.

The internal rechargeable battery gives an operating time of 2-6 months, depending on operating mode. The device carries a motion sensor that detects movement. Optional sensors such as temperature detection for cold chain supervision and/or alarm can be added. Remote listening is also possible, via an embedded microphone.

A computer with the application software features on the device, and can be tailored to user demands.

With an IP65 enclosure and low-temperature electronics, the device can operate in a harsh outdoor environment. Positional data can be broadcast by SMS, email and GPRS.
