Sunday, 05 June, 2011 | Supplied by: MiMOMax Wireless Ltd

The Sub Mux interface is an external, full duplex multiplexed interface solution that communicates directly with a MiMOMax radio unit.

Together the RU and interface can provide up to 4 x async serial channels, 2 x sync serial channels and 1 x C37.94 fibre channel, plus optional ethernet, over a single radio link.

The interface is specifically designed to enhance the functionality, versatility and compatibility of communications networks.

When connected, the RU and interface produce an ultra spectrally efficient, very low latency and highly reliable interface that can support a variety of applications over one radio link, including; SCADA, telemetry, inter-site signalling, tele-protection and ethernet IP data.

The interface negates the need for additional hardware, reduces costs and is claimed to optimise performance and scalability of communications networks.
