Trio DataCom has released its M-series digital data radio. The MR450 modem has been optimised for the cost-conscious end of the SCADA market, most notably water and drainage telemetry systems.

It offers a digital data radio, including a data throughput of up to 9600 bps, full 5 W transmitter output, software-based configuration and inbuilt diagnostics.

The MR450 has full -30 to 60°C operating range.

Trio also offers matching full duplex base/repeater stations, including a fully redundant, hot-standby version that are purpose-designed to allow continuous transmitter operation over the full temperature range.
