The DIN rail adapter for Mate-N-Lok cap housings allows wire and harness installers to bring two ends of a cable assembly or wire harness together at a DIN rail mounted location.
The adapters allow designers to use a pin and socket connector with DIN rail mounting.
The adapters can be used in industrial control cabinets, industrial machinery, commercial equipment and power distribution applications where DIN rails are used.
Contacts can be applied with high-speed termination equipment and, since the connectors are part of the wiring harness, an entire completed harness can be installed, minimising difficult point-to-point wiring installation methods common in DIN rail applications.
Higher wiring densities are also realised.
