The Protex Switching Technology electrical safeguard system protects people and equipment from electrical shock and damage. The electrical isolation device is not earth reliant, nor voltage specific. It can operate in both AC and DC applications, be encapsulated and much more.

The technology offers an effective safeguard system that detects electrical faults and isolates the power within the unit.

Current safety switches rely on an earth connection, yet not all electrical equipment has an earth. For non-earthed (class 2 and 3) equipment the user unknowingly completes the electrical circuit to operate the safety switch.

The Protex Switching Technology, however, does not use the earth connection. It operates on all classes of electrical appliances 1, 2 and 3 - in all environments wet, dry, hot and cold.
