The IT 5620 is a handheld scanning device with barcode reading, Bluetooth data transmission and batch function.
The scanner is used where barcodes require mobile detection. The imaging module allows reading distances of more than 1 m and provides good reading even with poor-quality barcodes.
Speeds of up to 270 scans a second mean that readings are about three times faster than with conventional laser scanners. The latest version 1.2 Bluetooth data radio module for transmitting the identified barcode data with integrated frequency-hopping, gives secure data transmission.
This can either take place to a Bluetooth-enabled host or to the base station that will, in future, communicate with up to seven IT 5620 units.
