Wave1, formerly WaveRider, has introduced its latest integrated unlicensed point-to-point 5.8 GHz wireless ethernet bridge.

The LF43 functions as a high data rate bridge using a standard 10/100Base-T (RJ45) ethernet interface providing connectivity up to 70 km in line-of-sight conditions.

It is a robust radio that uses OFDM modulation including BPSK and 64 QAM (eight modes) delivering good link capacity and ensuring non-line-of-sight capability. Adaptive modulation facilitates good performance and automatically adjusts transmission to enable a continuous link.

The bridge delivers up to 43 Mbps ethernet data rates, giving more reliable connections than other devices at faster data rates and maintains 100% availability in challenging environments.

It has an easy-to-use HTTP-based web interface management system, enabling simple unit configuration, and is a suitable alternative to leased lines.
