The Strix Access/One Network Edge Wireless System 150 (EWS 150) provides a high-performance backhaul Wi-Fi connection to Strix's Access/One outdoor wireless systems (OWS) and indoor wireless systems (IWS), enabling an end-to-end wireless service and seamless indoor/outdoor roaming. Designed for use by carriers, municipalities, public safety agencies and enterprises, the product supports a range of voice, video and data applications.
The system is powered by dynamic mesh architecture which provides long-range connectivity of 54 Mbps and throughput of 24 Mbps. The product incorporates a single radio with two antennas (802.11b/g) to connect to the OWS or IWS networks as well as an ethernet port for connections to the user's router or computer.
