Comms Connect Sydney begins Wednesday!
Sydney’s best ever line-up of Australian and international speakers, as well as all the top vendors, have come together for Comms Connect Sydney, 7–8 June at the Sydney Showground at Homebush.
The event will be headlined by a keynote address by TJ Kennedy, President of the USA’s First Responder Network Authority, who will speak on ‘FirstNet — leading the way for Nationwide Public Safety Broadband Network’. He will be followed by the plenary presentation by Shane Fitzsimmons, Commissioner of the NSW Rural Fire Service, who will speak on ‘Working together to keep New South Wales safe: Air Services communications and information management’.
The second day will commence with a keynote presentation by Kate Foy, Managing Director of the NSW Telco Authority, who will speak about ‘Wireless communications in NSW: today and tomorrow’.
Aside from the keynotes, there’s a packed program of more than two dozen technical and policy presentations, covering the gamut of critical communications issues — you can see the full program here.
There’ll also be three workshops, covering: LTE 101, its strengths, weaknesses and application; Public safety information management; and building a radio network from the ground up.
In the exhibition space you’ll find more than 50 companies, large and small, for you to meet and greet and do some deals.
It’s not too late to register online, or you can just rock up and register at the front desk on the day.
You can also get a FREE exhibition pass. Again, you can arrange this online or at the event on the day.
Don’t miss Comms Connect Sydney and the huge variety of speakers and vendors. See you there!
