The bigger and better event that is a MUST to attend
Over two full days, this year’s RadioComms Connect promises to be bigger and better than ever with almost 50 exhibitors, 250 to 300 delegates expected to attend and a gala dinner likely to attract 400.
New this year will be two workshops that will look in depth at topics to be announced closer to the time. However, the numbers of attendees will be limited.
Etihad Stadium in Melbourne is the place to be on 17 and 18 November if your world is two-way radio.
In addition to the exhibitors is a full program of presentations with key speakers including Greg Esnouf of the CFA; Peter Clemons, director of the TETRA Association and Teltronics; Christan Kelly, president of ARCIA; Ian Carr, CEO of the Simoco group in Britain; and Paul Daigneault, CEO of MiMOMax.
Some of the topics to be covered will be converging wireless networks, public safety and TETRA systems used in mining. Other speakers will include Adrian Stewart from ACMA, who will talk about the latest moves in the 400 MHz arena, and Ian Miller from ARCIA.
A highlight of the event is the ARCIA dinner being held, as last year, in the Palladium at Crown. Last year there were 370 diners. This year, 400 or more are expected.
Key sponsors of the event include Sepura, Auria Wireless, GMG Solutions, ComGroup, Vertel and Control Synergy.
