The Sundance SMT365 DSP module is being used to help develop portable humanitarian mine detector (PHMD) technology. The PHMD system uses a pulse induction metal detector combined with a ground-penetrating radar array to discriminate between minimum metal antipersonnel mines and small metal clutter.

Aeroflex and AT4 wireless have announced that the WiMAX Forum has designated the Aeroflex/AT4 wireless MINT223x protocol conformance test system and AT4 wireless MINT T2110 radio conformance test system as official test equipment for WiMAX Certification (802.16-2005).

CTIA-The Wireless Association has approved AT4 wireless as a CTIA authorised testing laboratory for over-the-air (OTA) performance testing. The company has been added to the CTIA Online Certification database as authorised to conduct over-the-air performance testing for CTIA.

Aeroflex has introduced the 6401 AIME A-GPS which it claims is the only test platform available that supports the industry-standard TTCN A-GPS protocol test cases as well as the Minimum Performance tests and the Open Mobile Alliance SUPL V1.0 (secure user plane location) conformance tests, as mandated by the Global Certification Forum and PTCRB handset certification bodies.
